ANDREW

MARGOLIES, ESQ

Margolies Law Office

Dallas Tax Attorney

"Despite the IRS's sometimes good intentions, they have done a very poor job of educating taxpayers on how to stay in their good graces. This is the specific area of law in which I focus. While many CPAs and attorneys know tax law, most do not know Internal Revenue Service procedure. This is the area of law a tax professional needs to know in order to successfully resolve an IRS issue. It is the who, what, where and when of dealing with the IRS."

WHO AM I

Andrew Margolies is the founding attorney at Margolies Law Office. He graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law, concentrating in Taxation and Commercial Law. He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas and lower Texas State Courts, the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Tax Court and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

Andrew founded Margolies Law Office out of his passion for tax law, and his desire to help people struggling with IRS issues. "Tax law is extremely complicated," Andrew says. "Most Americans cannot even fill out a tax return because of how complicated some of even the most simple instructions are. And filling out a return is suppossed to be the easy part! Add to that even the slightest hiccup, and the things quickly spin out of control. The frustratingly complicated letters start pouring in, and people tend to seize up. I fully understand how difficult and complicated tax law is and how intimidating the notion of facing the Internal Revenue Service alone can be. No one should face them without the necessary level of knowledge of IRS and tax law."
